Windshield Replacement Recommendations in Seattle/Bellevue Area?

    Hey r3vers,

I bought my '90 325i with a cracked windshield and I need to get it replaced before heading to the track this summer. Anyone have any recommendations for a place or company in the seattle/bellevue area?

    Thanks!

do these all use factory glass or aftermarket? also factory seal? i know on the M3 the aftermarket glass is thinner so worth paying the little extra for the factory glass from the dealer.

I'm not sure. You'd have to ask. He does all my windshields and got a great price so I never bother to ask. I'm guessing the seals are oem tho. Not sure about glass

I've found that you can specify the glass brand and they'll give you a quote based on that. Obviously, better glass will cost more.

Pickerington is a high quality glass, and rumored to be a BMW glass manufacture. I have a Pickerington in our e39 w/rain sensor and two trucks and will be putting one in my e30 shortly. E30 windshields are cheap and don't have rain sensors, so for me it's a no brainer. For me, having a Roundel on the window isn't worth the huge price difference over a Pickerington. Professional Auto Glass will be glad to order OEM if the Customer wants to pay the additional cost.
