Why post this? Hopefully my e30 will be so embarrassed I made this public, it will squeeze out a few more ponies next time I put my foot in it.

Drivetrain loss + High mileage + poor maintenance in the past can really make an iX slow.

That said, XB's shouldn't be pulling on you IMO. TBH, you should just try not to race, and smile when the snow comes down.

Maybe the Scion had a spectre intake or an e-turbo? With dual cans it is highly likely and then it would make sense why you got owned.
