    Most entertaining route from PDX-Reno?

    Hey Guys,

I'm planning on a little road trip with my 4 year Aug 1-3 for the Barrett Jackson auction. Anybody have any ideas on the prettiest/most entertaining route? We're gonna take the E30.

PDX to Bend via hwy 20 or hwy 22, then continue on hwy 20 to hwy 395, head south to hwy 299 west to 139 south thru Susanville, then back on 395 South into Reno

Not sure what the best route would be but if you find yourself here and want to meet up with the local e30s let me know.

Will do. Maybe Saturday night? No casinos, strip clubs or bars, the kid's been banned from about every establishment of ill-repute.

I took this route coming home from bimmerfest/vegas 2 years ago and it was very nice. It seems a little out there but traffic was light, some good lake and forest views and some room to up the MPH here and there...

I was thinking along the lines of somewhere nice to grab food or something, I hate the casinos anyways.

Going through Bend would be good as Santiam Pass is very nice. Just about everything south from there though is going to be desert.
