    Selling my "Kinda" IX $2500

    (Copied from the add)

Runs and drives good. First off, it is no longer AWD. Long ago, it was converted to 2wd. It still has all of the ix parts except for the ix specific transmission, transfer case, and drive shafts. It is pretty much an automatic I car with extras. The only things that do not work are the rear windows. They click, but don't go down. Needs new shocks, and rear pads (brake lining light on). Has heated seats(great for the northwest), ac, cruise, power windows, limited slip, ix body flares, and plastic bumpers. Has new plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor, Crank Position Sensor, and air filter. Just had Oil changed. The Timing Belt, Tensioner, waterpump, and valve adjustment have now been done. Also replaced broken vacuum hose going from throttle body to valve cover.

What made you want to convert an ix to 2wd?

I never would have converted it.

Just out of curiosity, how were the front hubs held together? The front axles hold the hub into the bearing and keep everything from falling apart. Without them, bad things would happen. Where just the ends of the axles in the hubs?

Everything was there except for the front driveshaft and transfercase. Thd front Diff and axles were still in place.
