WTB: e30 M3 front/rear seats; g260

Big props to Dirtsquirt (Dan)! I was supposed to meet him last night when the M6 decided it didn't want to start. Crappy intermittent starting problem after driving. I have to run that down (I've heard it might be temp sensor, crank position sensor...). Anyway, Dan picked me up and drove me home. We completed the transaction and I have that Rear Seat and I didn't have to wake up my GF's five year old boy to have them come pick me up or grab a cab.

You're correct but if you're going to re-upholster it then you can add the 2" of foam and Dave yourself $$$ between the price difference of the vert vs M3 seats.

Thanks. I'd love to save the dough. I'm just not sure I could do a good job. Looking like amateur hour is never worth the saved money to me. So, I don't know.

The vert seat is about 2" shorter from side to side than the M3 seats. So, I'm going to wait until I find original M3 seats.

whats your budget for a rear seat? I may know of one..... but it wont be cheap

I don't have a specific budget. I buy things based on not paying over how much I think it's worth. Budget is rarely the problem since I'm into M cars and not Ferrari's. I'm on the hunt for a seat. If you know of one, I'm eager to hear about it. Please let me know.

I have a PERFECT rear seat from a vert. I sold the leathers in it so it's really the structure and the foam, but it's mint. I can take pics if you're interested. I will also ship it anywhere in the continental US on your dime.

Just read over on s14 that vert seats are 2inch narrower than m3 rear seats. So, narrowing search just for e30 m3 rear seat.

Finding vert or m3 rears are still few and far between. If you know of any available locally, let me know. I have been looking for both.



Fronts: doesn't matter. Condition of the mechanicals are more important than anything. Again, if you know of fronts that aren't trashed mechanically, point in my direction. I'm less worried about finding these.
