Window regulator Help/sunroof

Hey guys, I am down in Corvallis, OR and right now the window is in a locked position. The previous owner didn't know what to do but I assume it's a bad regulator. Does anyone know how to fix windows or know how to install a regulator?

Also, the car sat for a year and a half and the sunroof motor works just fine but it won't retract. I am guessing it's stuck and just needs to be lubed/oiled. Is anyone familiar with this issue?

first pull the plug in the door and check to make sure your getting power and ground, it could have the breaker or kill switch engauged.
then depending what year you have early has about 5-7 10mm nuts that hold it to the door under the card, then two tens that hold the glass to the regulator. take those out and take the glass out, it will also have a wheel on the other side of the regulator so watch for that.
the regulator it a pain to come out, but you will only be able to pull it from the lower cut out, so send the side that has the bolts up though the scraper till you can get the lower section to come out.
once thats 4 philips hold the motor to the reg, check the motor to see if its working, it may just be freed up from sitting.
