Tie your rearend to a tree and drive really fast. It will pop out in no time at all.

What else should I replace while I have the subframe out? Trailing arm bushings?

It's actually easy to do without special tools you just need to take the subframe completely off and use a torch to burn the old bushings out. New bushings will slide in with some wd40. It would take anywhere from half to a full day depends how fast you work.

To change the bushings yes, but it will take a couple hours to remove and install the subframe.

Need help with rear subframe bushing replacement
I've read that it can take as little as an hour to change rear subframe bushings with the right tools. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there with these tools that I can hire. Does anyone know of a good place or recommend someone who's price is reasonable? My first quote was $800 and I just don't have that. I'm happy to help with the work, I've just never done it before.Tags: None
