Wtb: manual rack steering linkage

I need the part that goes from column to the rack. Power steering linkages are to short, has to be from an early euro car with manual steering.

Why not drill the rivets and use a nut, bolt and spacer with your existing linkage?

I have the half of the linkage that attaches to the rack, tomorrow I'm going to bring both peices to work and fab something up if I don't find the right parts

I was able to make something that will work, how inportant is the flex disc? I'm considering replacing it with a solid aluminum piece, seams that it would be more responsive that way.

I already ordered one but just curious.

Lots of people do it. Will make the steering more responsive but you will feel more vibrations and such (I know you're not too bothered with this.)

I'd go with poly just so it has some flex in it but almost no play, but my steering linkage is different because airbag ftw
