Larch isnt that far out. Maybe its just me :) its about 30 min from downtown and the larch drive can be had in anywhere from 10-25 min dep upon if you follow speed limits. It begins at crown point. I'm heading up there tonight. I'll check snow and mileage etc.

okay okay. it was roughly an hour from downtown. I guess I just like the drive too much, but it doesnt seem like it. Crown point is only like 18 miles from the I-84 and I-205 junction. Which isn't a bad drive anyhoo. Larch Mt is just 14 miles further on the backroad. If you bypass troutdale and go to corbett on 84 itd be about 40 minutes. I just like the backroads from corbett into troutdale then jumping on 84. Just an idea guys :)
Took a couple shots of my ride at Crown Point at sunset. Enjoy...

Word. I just found out that the park is less than three miles from my place.
Lunch = NW 23rd Ave - they have a shitload of restaurants. Escape From New York Pizza is my vote. Best pizza in Portland and it's cheap (by the slice).Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

LOL, there's no McDs up there. But yeah, places in the middle of 23rd there can be a bitch to park around.
But I've got a better place:
The Lucky Lab on 20th and Quimby - TONS of parking, great food, and less than three miles from the park. Actually a bunch of BMW guys meet there twice a month to hang out.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment
