    Mediablasting?

    Anyone on here do it? I'd rather not pay the huge fees most commercial shops charge. I need to blast clean some aluminum parts before painting.

    i have done glass bead blasting as well as walnut shell blasting at home, and honestly unless you have a cabinet to do it in it's not worth it. the mess is fucking awful.

        How big? I have a HF blaster. Works great for small stuff.

          Sandblasting is cool too, I don't think it would damage the aluminum stuff. I mostly just need to get it cleaned up before painting. Nothing is bigger than about 16" in length.
