    Coolant Reservoir Cap?

Okay, yeah, super random, right? I know. I don't know where it went, but I guess I lost it Right now I have it duct taped and it is spewing coolant everywhere. Ugh. So, anyone have a cap for the little brown cylinder thing? I would be really happy if you did, because it costs 20 DOLLARS new. I will totally pay you but I can't pay that much for a piece of plastic :P Thanks!

"Brown cylinder thing" sounds like your power steering..

    Early model coolant reservoir

Also using a used one still runs the risk of not holding pressure/leaking.. If you can afford to drive an E30 you can afford 20$ to keep it maintained.. Btw the "correct" coolant is ~20$ a gallon

There's a CRP brand cap on FCPeuro for $7.99 with $4.99 shipping.
There's also a Uro parts brand cap for less than $4 on ECS Tuning.

URO stuff will break as you install it.

^^Yup, that's it alright! I need that stupid cap. I wish I could hide that thing, too - very obnoxious. I think I'll head over to the junkyard and try to pick something up.

Try and grab one from an E36. will be a direct fit, "newer" and possibly handle higher PSI depending which model its from.
