PDX and surrounding. Question and help.

Im in the process of finishing up my 84 318i m30b35 swap.

We got the motor running and tranny is bolted up and diff and all that good jazz.

Tonight I was reading online on m42club.com that some dudes had used that 318ti driveshaft. After reading through the thread, someone said that shaft ends up being about 3 inches shorter. Which is exactly what I need.

Does anyone in the Pdx area have a extra 318ti driveshaft laying around? I'd like to test this theory out so I don't have to get my driveline cut welded and balenced. It is honestly a cheaper and ultimately better option if it works. Not only would it be more oem but I won't be praying that my little driveline holds up.

Let me know if anyone of you got one. I'm going to work on the car in the morning.

Come on, I know someone out here has a 318ti driveline they're not doing shit with. I want to test fit to see if its even possible.

You pick a board that doesn't really deal with 318ti cars often, let alone a manual 318ti and wonder why you don't get many responses...try bimmerforums.

Might have some ok luck with car-part.com also.

I have no dealings with the bimmerfourms. I'm working with a POS iPhone and no laptop. It's not fun even navigating this fourm on my phone, let alone making a new account on a completely difference car fourm. It's a bitch to say the least, however I do see your point.

Their forum is not hard to navigate on a mobile device. I just loaded it up and logged in on my phone. Seriously, you aren't going to find what you are looking for here.
