Black E30 Vert in Skyline, Anacortes

Sooo there's this vert that's just a few blocks away from where I live. Black vert on what looks to be H&R's with Billies. 5 Speed and the top is in pretty decent shape. Lapisblau in color and some aftermarket wheels that are sorta' ugly. De-badged and been sitting for AGES. Is it anyone on here? I sorta' want it... I'll snatch a picture of it today. It looks like it could use a clean up but it would probably be pretty nice cleaned up and buffed.

It's funny the cars I never see out and about over there... That being said, I'm going to be "house sitting" over there next week; I do believe I'll wander around looking for cars.

I plan on going there this weekend to see if they will let it go.. Never seen a Lapisblau vert too. Pretty cool, lowwww miles. A vert' is not ideal for me, but damn it would be cool to listen to some 80's tunes with the top down with a gnarly blazer on and my hair blowing in the wind. ;D

How did you find out the miles on it?

I walked up to it a while back. It was right after I got my 2002 actually... So, maybe two years ago? It's been in the exact same spot the entire time I've known of it's existence. It was probably dumb but i'd never seen a vert in person so it sparked my interest and I had to have a closer look than just sitting in my car. If I remember correctly it's about 140k on it. My money is on the ODO is broken but it looks really clean, minus the grime and dust from sitting for ages.

Girlfriend told me last night in the 16 years she's lived here, it hasn't moved an inch as far as she remembers. I wana' bet the timing belt broke... Going over there tomorrow to find out if they will let it go.

I can remember that Cabrio being there even when I was in elementary school!! I've never seen it driving though!? Maybe someone's rig that passed away I always thought! Let me know what comes of it I've wondered about that car from time to time!
