    FS: WA, Renton: Black 88 327i + parts (Pics)

    Hey PNW -

    Holy shit it's been forever since I've seen this forum... Anyways, let me cut to the chase here. I've got "slammed_e30's" 328i (327i ??) black 4 door. Here are some pictures of the car in its prime - honestly I don't think it is too far from this state, but needs some TLC: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=60500

    I bought it from him quite a few years ago when I wanted to get back into an e30. Since then, life happened - house, kids, new car, etc. etc.. I'm going to be trying to sell my house this summer and won't have a place to store this car, as if it should be "stored" any longer. I just don't think I will ever have the time to devote to it.

    I am looking for some help in determining what I can expect to get for it and ultimately getting it to someone from the area that still loves e30s. Here are some of the details..

    It was LAST driven 2-3 years ago. It has been sitting, under a car cover. At this point I'm not looking to get much for it. I really just want to make a little of my money back and have someone come pick it up - as is.

    I'm going to randomly list some stuff here, sorry in advance, I don't remember much about the car:
    * before being parked it was being driven nearly every day.
    * plastic bumpers
    * short-shift kit
    * aftermarket lowered, maybe Eibach GC & Koni adjustables?
    * my brother did some engine work combining two motors (calling it the 328i or 327i... It WAS a Super ETA. He paired it with a 325i head, I think... does that sound right?)
    * aftermarket wheels - mille miglia spyder (17" BBS RX will come off the car and I'll sell separately)
    * Two diffs - I believe the 2.93 is on the car but I think I also have a 3.73 stored away...
    * aftermarket stereo
    * some more crap, maybe swaybars (front and rear)
    * paint I think is ok, but it is original, maybe a couple dings...

    I'm going to try and get some pictures that I can post up, but again, I'm really only looking to get rid of it all together, picked up, as is condition. My brother, who owned this car for most of the time its been in the family is local, so I will get more info and I can ask him questions if you have any.

    Any help with pricing or interest would be great.

    PM me if you'd like my cell to chat about the car. It is in the Renton Highlands area if you want to come take a look.

    Thanks!

    Hey guys - replied to a few PMs, but here is a little more info:

    Good new/bad news - Got the car jumped last night and it fired right up, bad news is that the battery looks to be completely spent...

    Found out passenger front window switch is bad.

    Mileage on the car is in the 180K-to-240k range. Odometer I think reads 212k (I'll confirm this today) but it is not exactly accurate because of the engine work.

    I'm going to try and swap the wheels today, so I will get a better look at suspension to confirm whats on it.

    I'm hoping to clean it up and take some pictures today - posted today or tonight.

    Still haven't really figured out what this thing is worth, but $3000 would take it.

    Thanks
    Brandon

      What do you mean by this?

        I guess that what I mean is that the odometer mileage is not exactly matching the engine because the instrument cluster was change at one point, which I believe was around same time as engine work.

              Ok, I've got some pictures and more info for you all -

              Cleaned her up a little today

              Put the Spiders back on

              Found out that the IE Stage III springs are currently on the car (didn't realize I still had these), with the Koni adjustables.

              Some interior shots

              Parts - to go WITH the car - think I found all the GC parts, extra regular grills (euro on the car), extra parts from ssk swap, the other differential (3.73) and a Turner chip. There is a set of spacers currently on the car, so I will be keeping the ones pictured for the BBS RX.

              Since I haven't really got any help figuring out what this is all worth, I'll just let you all know that I'm leaning more on the $3000 side - this doesn't include the (5) BBS RX. I will be holding onto this set until the car is gone and give the buyer of the car first chance to take them.

              Please let me know if you have any questions.

              Thanks!

                To confirm something from above -

                Definitely has two strut bars. The red Sparco up front and a silver something in the back. Sorry, didn't take note of the back one's manufacturer.

                (edit) Odometer, as seen above, is on 212k. I was talking to my father-in-law and we believe this to be high based on some paperwork we found from when it was bought (mileage was 144k).

                  This is a nice looking car, I would be all over it if I wasn't already tied down with several other projects here GLWS!

                              Car is now sold. Thank you for looking. I'll be creating a FS thread for the BBS RX in the near future.
