I just got home about 20 minutes ago, and I got hi-res shots of all the race cars, I'll have them up in a few. I've got 118 pics, but I'll probably just post some of the better ones. Got 2 video clips, too.

Just a quick note to those who poked fun of my car! :) I pieced it all together the night before. The Picnic was the first time I had seen it in daylight, ha. And the eBay angel eyes were only temporary until my smoked Hellas arrived, which they did today! "Oh Snap!"*

Alright. So as everyone may or may not have heard, my car didn't make it to the Picnic, on account of bad front wheel bearings. We found it at the last minute, and there was no way to get them fixed in time to take the car. It sucks, but there was nothing we could do. But I still got to go, and I got a fuckload of good pics, 118 total. I'm only posting my favorites in 800x600, but if anyone wants any of these in hi-res, I've got them all in 1632x1224, just email me and I'll send them out.

This car was fucking sick. E46 330Ci, with Rieger M3 CSL replica front end. He had the carbon fiber hood sprayed with clearcoat, mixed with the car's paint color, tinting the CF hood the color of the car. Fucking brilliant. This car was seriously one of my favorites of the day:

Wish I could have made it, did anybody from california come up this year? It looks a hell of a lot nicer than it did last year. It appears that there was a better showing of cars. Im gonna shoot for next year again, if I can get the time off work and I dont have a race the weekend of the event. Too bad that gives me about a 25% chance per month :P Maybe my 02 would be done by then? At least its a BMW ;) Those Mercedes dont have a roundel! They sure look nice though.
