Have you checked with some of the marine top shops over in Anacortes? I used to know a guy who did that, but he got into doing computer tech assistance for banks...

If anyone has a recommendation for a shop in the PDX area that does cabrio top windows, I would love to know. I have a couple tops that need work.

Good thinking quadra! There is a marine upholstery shop on T ave in town.

Austin, if they end up being able to do it at a reasonable price I will let you know! I also found a whole window kit for $80 I just bought one the other night!

Auto Specialty(Tacoma) has done a lot of E30 converts....late e30 had a zip in window( replacements from BMW all had a zipper) The early originals were glued and sew in type...
there was a lots of companys selling replacements some with zippers and early style(depending on the $$$ you spent replacing the top.... Also what condition is the top ? this may factor in if some shops want to touch it also...
            it's just a ETA !

I went to tap plastics and bought the vinyl for like $15. Then sewed it in with the help of a friend. One inside the car with a thimble, one outside with a thimble. Worked great and looks great...

^ that is badass I commend you for busting it out ! I however do not have it in me to tackle the job and I do not mind paying for a professional to instal. Give me a m30 I'll turbocharge it and make 500hp but I will not take on a J O B like this haha
