Does that mean you HAVE EVEYTHING? including radiator. Since you put it like that. I might as well change to late model cooling system. I'll just get the hoses off my buddy.

I'll take it Seth if you got it still, want to convert the race car to the late style for a little more reliability.

I bought one for a 528e. it fits, all holes and hoses line up, and is solid at the top(don't have to worry about setting things on it and bending fins). It was also cheaper

This will work in your car - I have one in my PRO3 as well (it's an '85 chassis.) There was another for cheaper, but it was still around $200. Just do a search for E28 or 528e radiator.

make sure it is in fact one to fit an early car. as of last summer, no one had one readily available. I ended up buying one of the $150 ebay specials and moving the connections as needed.

You might try calling 1-800-Radiator or Discount Import Parts for a new unit for your '86. I know both can get one today, but I don't know your budget. Good luck.

You'll need an early style, but it's the same as the 5 series M20 setups from the same vintage.
Yea I don't have the car in front of me but Yup everything is on opposite sides. But I did find some aluminum ones on eBay Ima probably just get on off there. Thanks man
