    Shifter boot rubber thing.

    Anyone know where the wire that is attached to the rubber shifter boot, the one that seals up the shifter hole. My selector rod broke in eastern wa. So had to get someone to fix it for me while I was over here working.

    the wire is for the transmission reverse light switch

        Good luck, that connector is a total bitch to connect while the tranny is installed. There is just enough room to get your hand up there in the tunnel, but almost not enough. Your hand gets cramped fast.

          Make sure it's not rubbing on the hole for the shifter, they have a tendency of shorting out and that fuse runs a few things
