e30 m50 no fuel no icv

    I have a few Questions.

    1. using e34 harness the 2 black wires out of loom before the fire wall are those grounds or positives.

    2. on a 24v swap does the valve cover need a ground, or will the ground strap on engine oil pan be good enough.

3.after i did the wiring the and motor was in i did a turn key test to the first position and the horn started going wont stop. I removed the horn fuse and turned the key to start it and it will turn over but wont start.

    4. any help advice would be appreciated, and or if your in the beaverton area and can swing bye to help me out that would be awesome.

There's an OBC control box under the dash on the driver's side with two green plugs coming out of it. Remove them and start your car up. You'll need to put the horn fuse back in. Coil packs need a ground strap. As far as those wires, cut the sheathing back to see what color the leads are.

ok i unplugged the green plugs and no start, i grounded the 2 black wires near ecu they were brown, there is a ground strap in the valve cover does there need to be one from valve cover to ground , also i quad checked my wires and i had two wires wrong after switch them the icv is now working, wires were e34 side 16-2 e30 side and e34 side 19-16 e30 side.
