yes e34 harness
i thought i had the wiring figured out checked and double checked before installing motor (mx5 looms site) made my own adapter.
installed motor and wired the red wire near ecu to distribution block. than both black wires near ecu to ground. than the starter red wire from distribution block to big terminal and red wire from under intake manifold to big terminal on starter. than i wired the two black wires near starter to lower smaller point (note that i know the littlest of the two black wires was supposed to go on top of the starter but i had forgot were i had it wired before with the m20 motor i had it going to ground so my windows wood work.). ecu was connected, adapter was connected. battery connected and but in key and the turned the key a little and the horn started sounding so i removed the horn fuse. and turned the key to the first position a and radio came on than second position dash lights (yay no smoking wires) than i turned it to start and it turned over but didn't start.
more to come im typing it nowComment

so than i find a different wiring chart (how to wire your e30 to work with a m50 on r3v site ).
it was all the same except 2 this wiring chart said to wire e34 pin 16 to e30 pin 3 and e34 pin 19 to 16 e30 pin, so i switched them and it turned over and the icv started working, but no start.Comment

than i remember that i had to have the littlest wire go to ground and not the bottom of the starter. so this morning i moved it to ground and pulled those green plugs from under dash tried starting no start checked wiring again think i switch some wires ( sorry that's fuzzy)
decided to check for spark turned the key and the abs wire fried. at this point i don't want to harm it any more and need help making sure it all ok and works. I'm so frustrated and i realize at this point i need helpComment
