    FS: 1991 325i calypso $1500

    Hello all,

New to the forum, have been driving fixing BMW's for a bit though. Mostly E28's. Came across this little beauty for a song and had to have it. Its been my daily for about a year or so. Mechanically great! Has yet to leave me stranded. But after finding and purchasing a 1988 535is here locally I figured it was time to return to what I am more familiar with and say goodbye to my vert and let someone else enjoy it.

    1991 325ic

224xxx miles (odometer has been broken for about 3-6 months)

    automatic transmission

    black ''leather interior''

    heated sport seats

Newer Tie rods (1000-2000 miles on them)

Newer rear wheel bearings (2000 miles on them)

Radiator was replaced with a new unit about the same time. No overheating problems, I had notice though that the previous owner had tried to plastic weld a crack on the plastic portion of the OEM radiator and figured it was good preventative maintenance to replace it.

    fogs work

    current tags

cons: will need control arms, rattles at around 40MPH to around 60mph. Guestimates really as Speedometer is non functioning

Some tire wear on the outside portion of the front passenger tire due to being driven with bad control arms

Entire passenger side (front/rear) carpet was cut out by p/o

center console has some vinyl stripping towards the bottom on both sides

not sure on last waterpump/timing belt replacement

has an Oregon Totaled reconstructed title. Unsure on the back story. Bought car with titled already branded. Have not seen any obvious signs of damage. Can text more extensive pics if necessary.

    small scratches/dents through out

top is ok, has been repaired by the looks of it in a few small sections. Keeps water out. Small leak in the front above the sun visor during HEAVY rain.

    dash is cracked

Rear strut mounts just recently gave out and will need to be replaced. About $30-60 a piece for these on parts sites.

    Looking to get $1500

Really need this out of my driveway. Wife is getting fussy

1987? Plastic bumper conversion? Check your year mate. Great looking car, I think that's a fair price.

You're willing to drive for a vert top, but not a complete car?

                    Dang son!
