Uhh bit skeptical. Portland Locals? Help...

Would anyone local to PNW(Portland) be interested in helping a fellow r3v brotha piece together a 2.7i motor and help install. By piece together I mean help assemble. I have everything I need for the most part (parts wise) And by Help install I mean exactly that. Help pull my current eta motor and install newer motor.

OF COURSE BY HELP I MEAN YOULL BE COMPENSATED FOR YOUR TIME. We'd just have to agree on how much.

I started all this with the idea of doing it myself. I've come to realize I don't have the means to pull this off. (No cherry picker, engine stand, torque wrench, shit not even a garage) with all that said on top of no engine swapping experience. Which has led me to this.

    Not all at once now...
    Anyone?

Ooooweee now that's what I'm talking about. I was actually going to ask him before this. I've seen he's offered a helping hand b4. Just kinda intimidated since a lot of ppl on here seem to know each other personally. Thanks tho I'll shoot him a pm.

That's not too far, but most of these boys live a bit north.

Do you have a gf? If not maybe you can build it in your living room? Get the engine finished and I am sure someone would rent you some space to yank the motor. My gf wouldnt allow it

No shit, put some plastic down.
You don't want carpet fibers in your engine.

...just don't try and use the dishwasher as a Hot Tank.

Not that I know anything about doing that.

And don't try to bake crinkle-coated valve covers/intake manis in your oven.

Not that I know anything about that, either.
