    M42 weird Timing Chain Noise

Its been making this same noise before and after a timing chain tensioner install.

    Thoughts?

I can not find anything wrong inside the head. I am not very m42 friendly.

    Thank you

p.s. How do I upload a video onto r3v? The noise is a grinding sound coming from the timing chain. Exact same sound as a cooling fan hitting the shroud.

Did you follow the process of releasing the tensioner first? I am assuming you are using a new tensioner and simply reusing the old. It sounds like you may have chain slapping the guide.

Sounds like guides to me. I would drive it hard. Or much attack all. The chain bouncing against that big front slap rail isn't good
