car stereo install help

Just purchased a new stereo head for the ///m3. Need to replace my:

Blaupunkt Los Angeles MP71

With a Kienzle automotive MCR 1016 BT

How difficult of a swap is this? someone installed it for me several years ago. I have a sub and amp in the trunk. The Blaupunkt works great and all speakers are fine. just need to swap heads?

anyone interested in helping me out? i can pay in beer or the installer could have the blaupunkt head if interested? if its easy enough/quick of a swap would anyone want to do it @ the e30 picnic?

It should be fairly easy since you have an aftermarket head unit already. Color match the new radio harness to the old radio harness. Make sure the RCA wires for the amp are plugged into the sub output from the new head unit and you should be good to go. Good luck! PM me if you have questions.

Did you end up installing it? I want to purchase one but I dont know if it comes with RCA outputs?

i havent yet. took it to car toys a few months back to ask about it. sad i would need to buy something to make my sub work. havent drove the car in a bit. on the list of things to get done soon
