WTB: M20B25 complete in the Portland area

Yup. The more complete, the better, but not opposed to a good long block. Not interested in anything else or seriously modified motors.

Why would you want one of those?

      LOL.

I thought you had a motor you just pulled?

Bought another one in need of a motor last night. I have a *short block* B25 but that doesn't help me at all.

Actually, I'll have to check. Most of ours are in various states of togetherness..

I'll make you a great deal on a complete motor with low miles on a rebuilt head and 270 something cam. Only problem with it, needs a #4 rod. And piston. But those should be easy to change since there is an easily accessable window in the block now. Just reach in and change it. Then patch it back up with some metal mesh and JB Weld.

If you are interested, I've got a complete long block sitting in my garage. But you'd probably want to pull it apart and at least stick new rings and hone the cylinders.

At this point, you can have it free.. (or trade for an E30 trunk lid!)

I may be able to scrounge up some other parts for it as (oil pump, maybe a pan..)

*And if you act now - I'll throw in an eta crank and ANOTHER bare block. That's TWO blocks plus an B25 rotating assembly for the price of one trunk lid!

EDIT: Short block! Typed this before I had any coffee in my system..

Decided to fix what I have...cost quite a bit more, but at least it'll be done right. Thanks.
