"If done properly" nobody would bother swapping one boat anchor for another. An M50 swap is the most pointless waste of time and money if you' re after power- especially a NV. The only way this makes sense is if you have a wrecked e36/e34 and an e30 with a blown motor in the driveway and need to combine them into one running vehicle. End of story !Comment

The m50nv is quite a bit different from an m20b25, it may not have much more power on paper, but papers not everything, the power is delivered much differently, it's a much more solid feel, the problem I have with any 24v swap is how low the oil pan hangs, the way the power is delivered is much better.
