    FS: 1987 Alpine White 325iS

    ***Asking $5,000 OBO***

    NEW PICTURES UPLOADED!!

UPDATE Fixing the broken door handle/moisture inside passenger side headlight

    Please respect my FS ad.

PLEASE ask for additional pictures or ask questions if you are at all interested!

This car is a big ol’ mixed bag of nuts. Some of which you’re gonna love, and some not so much. This car has its fair share of problems/issues, however it also is loaded with goodies that make you forget about the problems (for the most part).

I’ll try to keep this post simple, yet VERY thorough. I’ll start by listing all the pros/good parts of the car:

    - 1987 325iS, CLEAN title, NO accidents!

    EXTERIOR
    - Excellent original paint job (Alpine White)
    - BBS RS reps with essentially brand new tires
    - iS side skirts
    - Euro plate filler
    - Mtech 1 spoiler (currently in process of being repainted)
    - Unknown aftermarket rear bumper (Anyone know what it is?)
    - iS lip with black splitter
    - Fully refurbished OEM foglights w/ yellow lamin-X film
    - Euro grilles
    - Non-pitted, great condition Euro ellipsoid headlights (w/ 6000k HID’s)
    - Plastic bumper swap
    - Euro bumper trim (plastic bumper euro trim)
    - Almost new windshield (1.5-2 years old, no cracks/pitting/chips AT ALL)
    - Smoked turn signals
    - Steel “100 years, BMW Classic” license plate from BMW @ the Historic Car races at Laguna Seca this past fall!

    INTERIOR
    - E30 M3 front seats (driver in good condition, passenger in very good condition)
    - Ski pass rear seats with custom headrests installed
    - Mtech 1 steering wheel (good condition)
    - Door cards/Dash/Center console in excellent condition
    - Euro check panel
    - Almost new floor mats (M Motorsports flag)
    - Power mirrors, sunroof, and windows
    - Pop-out rear windows

    ENGINE/MECHANICAL
    - Rebuilt motor w/ roughly 160k miles on it
    - Brand new Bilstein Sport shocks/struts w/ new strut/shock mount kit (less than 2k miles)
    - Front strut bar
    - New spark plugs (9/2015)
    - Rebuilt Driveshaft (9/2015)
    - New driveshaft flex joint (9/2015)
    - New control arms/bushings (9/2015)
    - New tie rod assembly (9/2015)
    - New throttle boot (9/2015)
    - New booster vacuum hose (9/2015)
    - New battery (6/2015)
    - New drive belts (6/2015)
    - Like new oil pan installed (7/2014)
    - Fuel system adjustment (7/2014)
    - Valve Adjustment (7/2014)
    - (More stuff, need to find paperwork for it)

Onto the problems and cons of the car:

    EXTERIOR
    - Tiny crack in 1 taillight
    - Splitter has a crack in it (essentially making it 2 pieces, but very much “functional”)
    - One fog light doesn’t turn on (I most likely wired it terribly, as I’m awful with wiring)
    - BMW roundels are a bit worn out
    - Mtech 1 spoiler is off at the moment, was being repainted
-Passenger side low-beam needs to be resealed (some moisture inside)

    INTERIOR
    - Shift knob is loose
    - Driver’s seat has some worn spots
    - Drivers interior door handle broken (must roll window down and open from outside)
    - Sunroof still opens, but isn’t as smooth in doing so
    - Check panel lights come on when they shouldn’t be (classic problem)
    - Drivers side knee bolster needs to be reinstalled (I still have I believe)
    - Gauge cluster not functioning properly (Sometimes speed gauge will go dead, the odometer only works about half of time but this only started happening a few thousand miles ago, oddly no problems with RPM, engine temp, or fuel gauges)
    - CD player needs to be replaced (I prefer sound of the exhaust over music anyway)

    ENGINE/MECHANICAL
    - Suspected starter motor blown, car is NOT running (ask for details)
-Rear passenger side wheel makes a strange whining noise occasionally

Please feel free to ask for additional pictures of particular parts/areas of the car or to ask any questions!

    nice deal

This is a nice deal considering all the rare and euro parts you have.
I would fix the starter, that is the only thing that is a red flag so to
speak; get this car to start, and I think you will get your price.

Thanks guys! I'm trying to get someone over to diagnose the problem and find out if it is in fact the starter that blew out.

Thanks! The starter motor being blown is the only big issue with this car. Like you said, everything else is a $50 trip to a pick n pull from being fixed!

Jump a wire from the positive terminal on the firewall to the starter and see if it spins.

The broken door handle and passenger side headlight moisture issue are being taken care of currently!

Working on replacing the starter motor in the next few weeks as well!

Anyone know where I can source the inner mounting hardware for an Mtech 1 spoiler? Not the mounting hardware for spoiler to trunk, but for the inner part (painted portion) of the spoiler to the outer (black rubber like) part of the spoiler. I believe it's 3 screw or bolt like pieces?
