          I imported my 318is from Vancouver to Canada last fall, because even 91s are now >25 years old the process was very simple. Make sure you get the title signed over officially once you return to the states however so you don't have to pay tax twice. Kbb values them low, and that is what the border agent used to charge import fees, I think it ended up be roughly $20 for me.

          Overall very easy and definitely worth it, but watch out for rust on these northern cars...

                You know for any importation questions, you can call your local Customs office, right? this way you'll know exactly what you're getting in to.
