Machine Shop in Puget Sound area?

    Hi,

Does anybody have suggestions for a machine shop near Seattle or Tacoma? I am trying to get work done on an S52.

    Thanks,

    Jordan

X10 for Phil, he's worked on my M54. He has also done a dozen or more big block, and small block Chevy motors for my dad, and uncle over the past 20 years or so. Phil is the man.

Ralph Ghent used to have a good machine shop on Fairview below Eastlake on Lake Union. Neighbor of the Alfa repair shop. Not sure if he's still there?

C and D machine in Kirkland is great to deal with. Just did an M20 block for us.

We have also had good experiences with Action Machine in Shoreline.

I'd inquire with C and D as well as the guy people are calling "Phil".

I used Action to remove a broken bolt that had a broken drill bit inside once, they were quick and did a good job. (Phil actually recommended them for this service)

Took my M20B25 block to Phil at Highlands East based off feedback in this thread. Turned out to be a big mistake. After waiting 3 months to get the block into the shop and then another 3 months for them to do the block work, I'm having to re-do faulty work they did and buy replacement parts, now using C&D machine in Kirkland. Phil does care is refunding some of the work, but between the waiting and the mistakes it was a big disappointment.

C&D does the Spec-E30 and Pro3 engines, they really know the details.
