PNW E30 picnic... Who wants to offer me a place to stay?

I'm still planning on attending the picnic [assuming I can get enough money to afford the trip] and me and 2 buddies are hoping you r3vholes can offer us some housing so we don't have to pay for hotels aswell.

Now I am not asking for anybody to inconvenience yourselves but if you have an extra room or something let me know. We can pay you in beer, haha. I figure it's time to start planning the trip considering it's a month away.

I think it should be more than known that you're welcome at any of our places of those who stayed at yours in cali.

you're more than welcome over here at my apartment, finding parking for the trailer would be troublesome though, James' is probably your best bet.

If you don't wanna drive all the way up to WA, all the cali guys are welcome at my place in Portland.

Matt, has John Mcgarrah talked to you at all about coming up with you? He was with Clay and I, the black e30 with the rear spoiler and DTM tips if you forget. I knew you wanted to go and he doesn't want to drive the whole way so I suggested that he *might* be able to get a ride up with you given that there is enough room. Not sure if he's said anything though, or if he'll be able to anyway but I wanted to throw it out there.

I want to keep the whole cali caravan together where we decide to stay. I'd be fine with staying down in Portland at Tom's place at least Friday night, then for Sat/Sun nights it's certainly open for discussion to be closer to the Picnic/Closer to home for the drive home. We have 3 nights to work with, but for the first, Portland sounds really good to me.

Glad this is getting worked out.

I am pretty sure my place is open for a few people at least... I'm about 30 miles or so north of San Francisco, maybe a good stopping point.

I am hoping to get a central Oregon caravan going on, so make sure you guys post your departure time from PDX, for those who pass out...er...sleep in Portland.

Browntown, Mac, UofOm3, other Salem/Eugene guys gonna speak up? I wanna leave Springfield saturday morning, catch up with you guys in PDX and head north.

The picnic starts at 11 and we can't show until 10:30. It is a 45 min drive from Griot's to the XXX, so we should plan on leaving around 9:30-9:45. I am planning on showing up to Griot's at 8am at the latest and should have a couple wash bays open at that point. Since you guys will be driving a bit I would recommend planning on showing to Griot's around 8:30-9 to allow time to wash or clean up your car for the arrival at the picnic. How does this sound to all you in the caravan?

Ok, at this point, this is how I'd like to see the CA caravan go down. All you CA guys let me know on AIM or here what you think.

Thursday morning ~10am latest?, the socal crew leaves to avoid driving straight through and to get some rest and more hanging-out time. Matt, and whoever else comes up and gets put up at Clay's place. Planned arrival of 4-5pm.

Friday morning, ~4am latest?, everybody that came up from Socal, plus myself and clay and anybody else that want's to tag along departs for Portland. Planned arrival time of roughly 3-4pm.

                              Bunk at Mot's place.

Saturday activities, sleeping arrangements, etc are TBD.

Sunday leave at ??? to Griot's and wash/detail cars if it hasnt already been done on Saturday. Leave to Picnic from Griots 9:30-9:45.

                              Sunday sleeping arrangements TBD.

On Monday, the Socal and Norcal caravan to leave between 6 and 8am, then depending on fatigue, Socal people may need to stop at Clay's again for the night and finish up Tuesday if their work schedule permits.
