Hey PNW Picnic Guys! 2007 Picnic Poster

Curtis Creager of Creager Photography (photographer from the picnic) contacted me about a 2007 Picnic poster he has for sale. These measure 11x14 and are are $35. He is not selling these for profit, so 100% of the proceeds will go to the Eastside Fire and Rescue and their foundation. Below is a sample picture of the poster. If you are interested in purchasing one email Curtis at ccphotography (at) comcast (dot) net. I believe he needs 20 pre-orders to keep it at the $35 price.

11 INCHES by 14 INCHES? What the fuck....why so small?

I would gladly pay $35 for a 24"X36"...even though my car is apparently in the far right corner of the shot.

LMK if he resizes. I am on it! Visa in hand, yO!

    HEY...D....YGPM.

I think the 11x14 is kinda like an event poster not a huge wall poster. I'll email and see what he thinks though.

Hey....Luke....you gotta call me back. ;)

11x14? Fuck. That. My monitor is fucking bigger than that. Make it a 24" x 36" and i'd pay closer to 35$ for it (still ridiculous).

for an 11x14 he'd be lucky to choke $15 out of me.

I can see wanting a little larger than 11x14, but 2'x3' seems like bigger than you would want for an event poster. I don't know how many people would want to cover half of their wall with a 2007 e30 picnic poster.

I spoke with Curtis about this, we settled on 11x14 because you could then easily walk into a Target or whatever and buy a cheap of the shelf frame to put it in. And for offices, etc, the framed pic wouldn't take up too much wall space. It's a great shot.

My car is right in the middle of this shot, which is awesome! But shit, $35 for something a couple inches bigger than a piece of paper? wtf mate. I guess I'll have to pass on this, sorry.

That aerial shot alone makes me start planning attending the next picnic... with or without an e30.

Bad ass picture but a picture like this belongs in the wrenching area anyway, so I would want it as big as possible before it got grainy. Yeah make 'em big then let me know, $35 is a bit large for a small photo.

It would make a lot more sense for him to sell it in a size people want...

I think the point of this image being sold has been lost. This is simply to raise money and to donate it to Eastside Fire & Rescue to say thanks for donating your time and department recourses for nothing more than a photo. The reason for the 11x14 size was to keep the initial printing cost down for me and to increase the amount of money that would be donated to Eastside Fire & Rescue. I will have to flip the bill for all up front printing costs.

I was given the opportunity because of my hard work and time talking to this fire department. They agreed to do this as long as I did not sell the image for my businesses profit.

Simply put the cost to print images larger than 11x14 including any discount for a bulk order is still very high and too much of a cost for me to endure.

Please remember 100% of the money raised will go to the EF&R. I will also see if I can get another company to match 100% making this a sizeable donation. This is going to be donated in the name of the E30 Picnic and its participants. This would only increase the support this picnic gets and make this a real community event.

As Derek said I will sell the digital file or I can print whatever size you want, no larger than 20x24. You need to keep in mind that if you go large the price will only increase. So for the few that want it large, say 16x20 or 20x24, here are the costs associated with prints that large:
                          1 11x14 will cost me $30.00
                          1 16x20 will cost me $48.90
                          1 20x24 will cost me $71.70
**Please understand I cannot charge what it will cost me, as that will only pay for printing and will not raise any money. I don’t get a large discount for printing the same image in bulk!.
I will sell the digital file (JPG, PSD or Tiff) for $25.00 (this is for a file in the range of 10 to 30MBs).

So if anyone is interested in getting a 16x20 and still willing to pay the $35.00, I will need at least 19 people confirmed, that means I will need 19 checks for $35.00. I will put the order in and get the prints made.

The prints you will get from me are 100% archival and printed on Fuji paper and are of the highest quality…you do really get what you pay for.
Or you can purchase the digital file and go to Kits and get what you get, I can not guarantee that the image you receive from one of the all in one stores will be same high quality print.

Last but not least. I will be on a two-week trip starting August 4th and will not be able to fulfill or deliver any images until I return.
