Need some PDX help this Saturday

So I got the auto tranny out today, and by Friday I should have all of the parts I need to put the 5-speed in. I could really use some help from someone who has either done the swap before or who has installed a manual tranny. I can't see how on earth I am going to get the bolts and nuts on the top side of the tranny, it was hard enough getting them off.......

Also, the torque converter stayed on the engine when the tranny came off, and it doesn't want to budge. Any tips or tricks on how to get it off?

Anyone who can come help out, I'm in NE Portland and I will provide beer and pizza to whoever shows. Figure on starting about noon. I have to get this thing ready for paint before the picnic!

I've got the whole pedal box thing to mess with too, but at least the new box I found is from an airbag car so it shouldn't be as bad.

use a super long extension + u-joint adapter to get the upper tranny bolts.

Problem is that 2 of them have nuts on the back side that are nearly inaccessible

If you are talking about the starter bolts, get them started from the top. Usually helps to have one guy up top and another down under. ;)
