JOSHIEfest 2008 - August 30/31, Bend, OR

Alright beetches, it's that time of year again! When everyone is jonesing for the next big E30 meet after the picnic, and a scenic drive through the Cascades! It's time for JOSHIEfest!

Only question is, when are we doing it? I can't do the weekend of August 8th, but any August weekend after that is fine. I'm thinking the weekend of the 22nd, to give everyone enough advance time to get time off work, sell body organs for gas money, etc.

22/23 works for me. Making a weekend of it would be sweet! There's tons of camping around Bend. Camping + campfire + booze = teh winz

All I need is someone with a trunk that isn't full of stereo equipment, folding tops and spare parts who can carry gear :oops:

Whats the story on JOSHIEfest?

About 2-3 years ago, I had a meet at my house in Bend, so all of the guys up north could come down and hang out in Bend, and go for a drive up in the mountains that are literally 20 minutes from my house. After that, it became a yearly thing, and I think Luke was the one that called it JOSHIEfest.We all meet at my house about mid-day, go have lunch, dick around for a while, then drive up to Mt. Bachelor to haul ass through the windy roads, burn half the tread on our tires off in the parking lot doing donuts, burnouts and drifting, then we have a BBQ and a petty decent party in the evening afterwards.

I think I could probably swing coming out camping with you guys, too.

Would you guys object to my local euro club coming out and crashing the day? Mostly dubs (sick ones), and a few Audis.

Probably Saturday night, I have a fixie night ride that I go to on Friday nights.

It would be best if you guys came down Saturday and camped that night.

Ahh, just recalling joshiefest 05 or 06 when i had big rickey freeman drive the euro car and i drove my 325, representing both delphins. curt still had a seta in his car, and a woman. 1st time meeting most of you, good times.

J-Fest '08 is in full swing eh?! I am in. Camping sounds totally chill, and I am down with that too. Anyone up to 2 nights of camping? Shoot, we could even pitch tent in Joshies yard one night. lol

Mac, I swapped the Seta and the girl for an s50 5 lug etc. Some people tell me it was a wise choice, but that is tbd. jk She is still around and will prob'ly even be reading this. ;)

OK, so Saturday, 8/23 we need to find a camping spot.

I can tell you this, it will be tough to find a decent one anywhere.

Maybe I will get Kim to drive the Astro and bring tons of stuff. She is the camper in the fam, not me.

Josh, can you start scouting for a decent spot, maybe someone with space on their property?
