Ouch, The first time I drove a manual, I got stuck on a hill. It just takes practice. Just take it easy and get used to where the clutch engages and disengages, so you can slip it a little as you pull away from a stop. Try it in a parking lot, don't touch the accelerator, just modulate the clutch until the car is rolling forward.
You probably popped the clutch (let it out too quick) so it made the rear tires spin. Ease it out, and you'll get the hang of it
