Big difference. An evo will almost always lose value in this economy (much like most new cars). Ask me about my MKIV.
And of course, this car needs to be gone over personally, not by pics. As far as I'm concerned, a swapped e30 with all the parts that is close to me is worth alot more than a grand. But then again, I am looking for another car, and I don't believe in low-balling. Like I said, to each his own, different people, different opininions. But I digress. Hey thats cool i dont care where you live but im just sayin this thread could have ended on ARE YOU HIGH? because yes.. this guy is high.. and thats why there are 7 pages of arguements.. no one would buy this E30.. thats all that all this junk as come out to. Some people think an old civic can be worth 10grand. honestly i think this car belongs on craigslist and not on r3v.

The reason people are getting so defensive is because they might be realizing that putting a different motor in your car doesnt do anything but make it your own CUSTOM car. to each his own but dont start a project and dump a ton of money into it and give up half way through and expect to get what you paid out of it..

IE my friend bought a 2008 Mist Evo X and now decided after 6k miles he doesnt want to pay for the status anymore. He lost alot of money on this decision but he doesnt go post it up for more than blue book and cry about when people say... 40k?! that car is 35k used!!!

I have! Before i bought my E30 i told the guy he was high for selling a non running E30 for 6k. I got it for 1k.. thats about what this car should be worth. He got a little too defensive because of his serious lack of any reasoning or "wrenching" skilllllz!

You are from Atlanta and don't belong here. So stop judging people based of there post count and join date.. Look at Danny.. People who have worked on BMW for 50 years could just now be finding out about the internet and maybe a month down the road they will join this forum BUT they WILL NOT post a PROJECT E30 4500!! They will be smart and browse around and read the tons of useful information on the forum BUT if they get bored like me they will come to threads like this and laugh at the moronicness of some BMW owners THATS FINE. This thread is just as FFA as MOST other threads.. you go look at this guys for sale thread and see how many people care... This is where people are trying to help this poor fewl, if he dropped his price in half there wouldnt be this thread of flaming and he would have a fair amount of replies on his FS thread.
