$4500 is not out of line for an ASKING price. It's the way buying and selling work. If he was selling it for $2500, it's not like someone would show up with $3500.

I probably wouldn't buy it for $4500, but maybe I would consider it, if it had an M30b35...

Nah. If you use a G260 in good shape with a clutch in good shape, you can do the swap for around $1100. I did a swap with an M50, E36 G250, driveshaft, S3.25, for $1500 including a new M42 radiator, OE waterpump, t-stat, t-stat housing, on an M50 that puffed 190 psi on all six cylinders...
Exactly, my S50/ZF is at about $3k including motor, tranny, UUC Stage II flywheel/M5 clutch and other misc goodies. Took me an extended weekend to get it in and running.

Yep, there was a time when the Corrado forum was the best subsection on the tex, I don't recognize hardly anybody in there anymore.

Perhaps because the car was free... wait again, see point above.

hmm, I'm stumped on that one.

The only reason I could anybody buying that 4 door, is for the swap so you could put it in a better starter car.
