Looking for any E36 cars in PDX

I did some mock up today. Should have this in two weeks. Still need a two door for a test fit.

And I think the Xbrace does offer what little degree of protection is necessary, though that is not it's primary function.

We've put those x braces to good use in my buddy's e36 m3. Left a chip and a small dent on the x brace from the rock he hit. Was a good sized rock too.

why would an E36 guy need a skidplate?

because they look badass, so they would have bragging rights.

truth, I have bottomed out a SLAMMED e36 and nothing happened to the oil pan, it's not the lowest point... same with e46's.. That being said, it's nice to have the plate in case you hit a huge hole in the road or some sort of hard debri...

E30s need a skid plate because the oil pan is FORWARD of the wheels.

Oh and e36s are rear sump, thats why you need an e34 oil pan for a 24v swap.

I'm getting a lot of calls on E36 skid plates. Do any of you have one. Or do you have a friend that may let me use there car. Your help would be appreciated.
