    Any mtnbikers??

Well went for a ride today and will go again tomorrow to work up an appetite for Thanksgiving. Great conditions and here are some shots of a couple of trails I went on plus some shots of the view. Any locals (Seattle area) want to go for a ride let me know.

From the top, here is a drop to practice on.

    Starting down the hill.

Midway down, this skinny is like 200' long and starts nice and easy.

    Then turns a corner.

    Then another corner ending here.

A nice drop as you enter a clearing and continue down.

Finally a few shots of the scenery, this is facing west from the top.

This is facing east from the top.

looks really nice. like the colors of the wood and the scenary...well, we don't have that. But i have two of the best parks real close. Marham and Oleta. been riding them for years. Then...mwuahaha one summer i went to Whistler/Blackomb, where i usually snowboard/ski and went mt.biking ON the mt's themselves. As in the ski lifts get turned into bike racks. rafting, rock climbing, camping etc etc etc i did it ; /

not me or my video notice not so colurful forest or cool mts on the background ; /:

Cheades, if i'm ever up around seattle with my bike i'll hit you up, and if you're ever around portland area with your bike hit me up and we can go to Post Canyon or Blackrock, or even ride down Mt. Hood. Lots of good riding down here.

Looks like fun, you should check out whistler some time, there's some crazy shit up there, most fun I've ever had on a bike in my life. And get this, I was on a hard tail  I'd say probably the only guy on the mountain without a $1k+ downhill bike. I kept up with just about everyone though, but avoided double blacks because of the random 10 foot drops.

I have done Whistler for the last 4 years now, it is tons of fun. The double blacks aren't that bad as they mark any decent jumps/drops. Worst part of Whistler is the braking bumps just beat your hands/wrists up, usually after 4 days I am shot for a while.

It was all too overwhelming to me, I was just trying to avoid the big wooden bridges they had at the bottom for that competition they had, I think 2 years ago. I know what you mean about the wrists thing though, my hands felt weird for a while after. See I'm used to backyard type mountain biking, just kinda boring trails, whatever is close, and occasional small jumps, so that was just crazy to me, I held my own though:p

Ended the trip going off a drop that was definitely too big for me, ~15 feet or so, quite a bit higher than I was expecting, feet came off the pedals and I landed on my crotch, didn't crash though! lol
