finally alive

today was a nice day. 55 degrees, sunny and I got my basket case 91 318ic on the road, so of course it was top down
has a few bugs to work out, but I'm so glad its finally running

nothing trick:
rebuilt ( cracked ) head
got rid of all the hoses under manifold and heater plate
new 4 point injectors
delete a/c adn p/s ( both were bad)
new radiator
volvo 960 puller fan on new thermo ( delete mechanical fan)
manual over ride switch on dash ( for just in case)
new water pump and thermostat
most hoses
all fuel hoses
removed all sediment and gunk from tank
new filters
rebuilt starter and alternator
keyless entry
new rear brake pads
new rear shock mounts
ellipsoids with ultra star bulbs
new fog light lenses
havey compounding to turn it black again

and it all started buying a basket case with "its just a blown head gasket"

so now I need a radio
front end has a shimmy between 40 and 55
still have an electrical gremlin under the dash ( not all my sash lights work)
and just came across a excellent set of basket weaves ( have bottle caps now) so not sure about that change out

anyway...its not show or perfect...but maybe Ill be able to make it to the next meet in portland
