    update:

I had a whole lot of shitty body side mouldings, they all looked like this:

a replacement set of repops is $110 not including the hatch, OEM approaches $500. so, I decided to clean em up a bit. so, I bathed them in hot soapy water, then I deburred the top edge on all of them, wiped them aggressively with acetone and ended up with a much better looking [but not perfect] moulding. these will suffice until I'm ready to pony up the cash for new. hard to see in this photo, but before is above, after is below.

I bathed and wiped down the lower door mouldings, now I have a cartful, ready to install

I also took an inventory of roof rack items. This is the whole lot laid out on the bench

each pedestal has this hardware to mount it and seal it

needless to say, the last thing I want is my car to leak from this location, so I created a shopping list

and then decided to fiddle with the door top trims. these were pretty buggered up and need to be removed again to do the door frames, so I just kinda tossed em on to make the car look a little more complete

    so there you have it.

or what you do with these?

        and this? kinky!

you put it all together for a money shot
