I am contemplating buying a complete e30, or building my own car this summer. Im thinking about taking an old 2002, e21, or e30 and re-building it. does anyone know where you could find one of these...in a salvage yard or junkyard. Im looking for someone to steer me in the direction of a junkyard or somewhere where I can find one of these bmw's. thank you

What exactly are you looking to do with this? Are yo looking to build a show winner, a track rat, a daily driver...what do you want to end up with?

Do you have a preference for early or late, sedan, coupe or 'vert?

Just saying " looking for an E30" is really not enough info.

On the other hand, I do know where a pretty straight Delphin auto '87 325is with a trashed engine/tranny is...

im looking for a coupe for sure. i am ok with some verts. for an e30 that doesn't need work, I am looking for either a 318ic, 318is, 325i, 325is with plastic or tucked bumpers, 5 spd, clean title, and records.

I would be looking to make it a car that I could drive daily, but also take to the track for added fun.

o sorry, in that statement i was trying to answer your "what are you looking to do with it" as in future tense. I am open to your definition of "project" as well. i am pretty open minded right now.
