I have lots of BMW friends down here. All pretty decent guys too. Ive been to a few get togethers, all good turnouts.

Exactly what are you looking for in a car "scene" ? Track day, BBQ, rum&coke, hookers? Say the magic word, anything is possible.

I have to agree with you. Roll into Naples or somewhere down here and you can easily find 12 2000+ BMW'S ... Its annoying as hell. But theres the real bemmers with our e30

I dont count newer models as that cool. Any old rick guy can buy one.

D-rock.... To do a meet, it takes a lot of time :???: (organizing, posting in different forums, following up with members) but it is all worth it

I have organized a few of the meets down here in South Florida and I have met a bunch of cool guys with their cars.

If you want to get one going, set the time, date, and place. Make sure that you set the date with enough time to remind everyone of the event so people will be able to attend and be able to fix their schedules for the meet.

I am not organizing anything this end of the year since my wife is pregnant and she is ready to deliver at the end of November. So, I am pretty busy getting ready all the stuff for the baby .....plus I am selling me e30 :???: but I will stay in the bmw scene.

You know Rolando, a meet sounds great to me. It gives us Bimmer owners a sense of community. I went to the one at the DB's in broward last week and made it a little late... didn't see anyone there. Also, the few e30 owners I've met around here aren't very friendly. I won't even get started on replying to a post, it just doesn't happen.
