    4NGIEfest '10

    Saturday, April 10th, 2010

4ngiefest '10 will be open to ALL GERMAN vehicles this year. But as always, everyone is welcome. Please spread the word and post a linkback here so we can keep up with what's going on in other forums!

What is 4ngiefest you speak of?

4ngiefest started in 2007 as a casual local area BMW fanatic meet. It expanded through venues such as the online car forum community, and magazine articles. In 2008, in association with ClubBimmer.com we drew a crowd of over 300 BMWs and successfully set a record in the Guinness World Record books.

Being the 4th annual 4ngiefest, we are striving to make it appealing to everyone attending. Every year we collect donations and send money to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Through merchandise sales and private donations, 4ngiefest was able to donate nearly $1,300 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society last year and we plane to exceed that again this year.

    WHY is it called 4NGIEfest?
It was named after 4ngie by a fellow fanatic because we hope to one day be the East Coast version of Bimmerfest.. although we have a long way to go. Also because saying the 4th Annual Atlanta BMW meet at Stone Mountain Park is just too much to say.

    What's New?

The site has been updated (thanks to AJ - Beingdevious). You can register online. There will be a running list of registrants which shows the person's name, location, vehicle, as well as showing them on a map.

    Newsfeed - Keep updated!

We are in the process of designing new shirts which will be available shortly. We're also working on some other merchandise such as glasses and decals.

We have a couple of confirmed sponsors so far, but we need more. UUC and Tischer have promised to be there, as well as some others.

DJ Bebe will be there showing us his skillz

AJ will be broadcasting a streaming video for those of you who can't make it.

We're supposed to have the entire lot to ourselves this time, so I'm also going to try to organize parking for better photo ops.

    4NGIEfest:

Lodging info: Most fanatics stay at the:

    Marriott in Buckhead
    3300 Lenox Road

I will try to arrange for a group rate IF you let me know in advance that you will be booking a room there.

    -or-

I suggest using www.kayak.com or you may want to stay at one of the hotels in the park.

Here's a map of Stone Mountain Park. The lot we're using is the Yellow Daisy lot, across from the police station, in the bottom right corner of the map.

"Entrance into Stone Mountain Park requires a $15.00 (CASH) one day parking permit per vehicle. This permit gives you access to the Park's numerous outdoor adventures for all ages including the public picnic areas, hiking trails, children's playground, walk-up trail and the spectacular Laser Light Show NOT ALL ATTRACTIONS WILL BE OPEN ON THIS DATE.."

Please note: This is for all German Makes.

Rain: It's possible, so be prepared. Rain or shine, 4ngiefest will go on.

Chairs & Pop up Tents: Bring 'em.

Some people, like they said in that thread, cannot view all the details at Bimmerforums for various reasons. This is the reason why I made a new one showing all the details. But thanks for your concern.

What do you have to do with it anyway? You are in Glendale, CA (the hotbed of bimmerfest attendance) and this event you are reppin is on the other coast.

We can all depend on Farbio to get to the bottom of this... Don't you have a lawn-mower convention to attend about the same time?

I planned on coming down last year, but ebeded up working that weekend. Maybe this year.

I will be at this show. This will be my 3rd yr attending. As for the "rusty bonnet'ed uroh style dub show" comment. If i remember correctly there wasn't a car with a rusty hood there last yr or any dubs.

You're gonna travel 2500 miles to sit in a hotel parking lot in Georgia?
