I will be at this show. This will be my 3rd yr attending. As for the "rusty bonnet'ed uroh style dub show" comment. If i remember correctly there wasn't a car with a rusty hood there last yr or any dubs.
Well, that could be attributed to the fact that this year, all euro's are invited. You mark my words. I will post a bunch of dub-trend pictures in this thread in a few months. I'm even gonna subscribe so I don't forget...
Seriously, who cares if dubbers show up? The guys and girls in Atlanta are actually cool (many of them skateboarders we grew up with. For someone who has never been to this event, you sure know a shit-ton about it. I for one don't want to deal with the traffic up there. We can organize an e30 meet in Atlanta proper one night. i have a friend who owns a bar, who owns an e30, who would love to have a bunch of e30 people come in for a beer or ten.
As far as the shit talking goes Farbin, leave it alone already. You made your point. Go tend to your cattle.
Edit. Not to mention, it's a good venue to meet fellow r3vvers like Scabbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, moallita, Hartge, regnu, me, dilsnick, tricked323, and some other die hard r3vvers.
i went last year and there were some nice bmws there. The location was not very good (big hot concrete parking lot). Hopefully the location is better this year and the techno music will be turned down some. It was hard for people to talk to each other with the music that load.
delatlanta1281 is totally right about the vdub crowd here. I have met some of them and they seem fine. Last year the we had guys in an e36 doing burnouts in the lot, that didnt go over very well with the stone mountain cops, especially as the lot was rigth in front of the police station...
I'll be there with my beater of an e30. Its not about showing off, its about having a good time and allowing those to laugh at you when you tell them how you didn't know the oil control valve had a spring behind it and got hit in the face by the valve along with all the oil behind it.... as an example.
stone mountain is right in my backyard. count on my coupe and my girlfriends cabrio in attendace. i think it's awesome donations go to cancer foundations, help keeps my dad alive. looking forward to it guys despite the haters hearsay.
