I'm driving my mother to Naples this weekend for a convention....Is there anything worthwhile to see as a gearhead? Do they do any "cars and coffee" or similar events on weekends there or in nearby cities? Thought I'd ask here.
What to do in Naples, FL?

I haven't been there yet (been up in PA the last year) but there is a musclecar museum about 50 miles north of Naples in Punta Gorda:
The guy actually bought an old Walmart just for his car collection..
BTW...Take I-75 not US-41 this time of year....sigpic

Yeah, stop by Sebring on Saturday while you drive down and come check out some drifting :)
Marco Island is nice if you're into beaches, although I'm not sure how crowded it's been lately.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube

Erick, I'd love to come up to see the event but I don't think it will line up well. I have a car to use from about 11am until 5pm today and it looks like Sebring is a little over 2 hours from here. Are you guys doing the event tomorrow? If so, what time does it run? I was hoping to meet up while I'm down here!
The weather down here is unbelievable, 70+ even at 9pm! I'm gonna try to jump in the Gulf today if the water is warm enough.
