Dude recommend me some places outside of Knoxville to live heading towards the NC line.
Maryville / Alcoa is a reasonably nice area and not too expensive. Its close enough to Knoxville to get anything you need. And really close to some great driving roads! (tail of the dragon, cherohala skyway, smoky mountain ntl park etc) Knoxville is just big enough to have at least 2 of anything you might need. But its not so big that traffic etc is absolutely killer. (thinking of Atlanta... or even my hometown of Denver, CO)

I took that pic that Saturday when it snowed all day. Has it been a few weeks already? Left the poor E30 out in the cold....
I'm originally from Colorado, but snow out here is so much different. It ices over fast and there are so many narrow hilly roads that become impassible with only a few inches! Its crazy. Only way I made it home one day was to throw a pair of studded snow tires I had leftover on the back of the E30, then the ice/snow was no problem.
