I'm looking for a M50tu for my 318i (84). The N ATL yard shows a 93 5 series, but it's been there since 12/09. Wondering if anyone had been buy and noticed the motor was/wasn't there anymore.

I think its got a 3.5 big six, if its the same e34 i saw.

No damage to the exterior really cept post yard damage. So the engine may be toast.

I was planning on making a trip out there soon. Anyone been out there? Any E30s?

I live about 15 minutes from it, I go periodically, they usually have 3-8 beat up picked over e30's.

If you find one that has just been put on the lot you may get something good, but I haven't found anything I needed on e30's the past couple times I have been.

And every time I have been, I have seen at least one other person lookin for e30 parts.

there are 3 Pull-a-part locations in "Atlanta" - North, South, and East. I've been to all three and they generally have 3-8 early model e30s and about the same number of 5-series. When I get there, they've all been gone through. If you're looking for miscellaneous interior pieces, the yard is a good place to find them. Anything electronic is generally taken first (cluster, switches, buttons, etc).

North location has 8 e30s in it now
South location has 6
East location has 6 also *This location is the newest and perhaps the most undisturbed b/c it's way the EFF out there....might have a better chance finding good parts

Thanks alot I think im just gonna make a day of it and go to all of them cuz im looking for random interior pieces and a couple motor pieces and front lip

I'd recommend going up to strictly german in Brasleton. It's far, but totally worth the drive. They have practically everything you could ever possibly need.
