          In this area of CT that would be 700-800 easy, and that's with things the way they are; five years ago forget about it. It's crazy how dirt cheap things are once you move into the country.

                just ot be correct, it is only 30 minutes north of atlanta without traffic. So no, it is not in the country. Rome is the country.

                  I meant "country" as in the international entity called the United States, in a purely geographic sense as CT is relatively tucked into the upper right hand corner of the United States. I wasn't saying "country" in a rural sense.

                        Seeing how it only takes 45 min or so to get from New Haven to Springfield MA, I would say 30 minutes north of Atlanta qualifies as the sticks in CT terms.

                        Same here, I don't think I could have afforded a leaning outhouse in CT for what I got my house here for.

                        OP if this was 3 years ago the pool/hottub might have made me think about moving to Woodstock. GL on the sale.
