It was great finally meeting you Gary. I'm honored to have finished second to you, and to have provided the ballast for your final run.

Videos forthcoming. Oh and I'm pretty sure Jacob is hooked.

Howdy Last weekend was the Spring Brodeo so C&C was preempted for some of us. I'm usually there on the first Saturday in one of the E30s.

Whats up guys new to the BMW/E30 scene, but no rookie to cars. Being originally from Boston I have own 3 Subaru one being a 288WHP Bugeye WRX equipped with a EJ205 and a VF43. I recently lost said car and picked up the E30 for some labor on another E30 and 200 dollars. It doesn't run due to the fact the M42 blew up. But it came with a M44....I know I don't like it either but Itll work till I can source a M42. Yes I want to stay 4 cyl. Curse me if you want I like the M motors. To get some "power" out of the 44(really just to make the car feel like mine) I'm planning on freeing up the exhaust and trying to find some ITBs to fit. But mainly I want to work on the chassis. Slotted rotors and new struts if needed. Im not sure what a 318IS came with for struts...IE Bilsteins or BMW M. Well this will be one fun learning experience and I hope to share it with some of you.BTW any clubs or meets around Knoxville Id prefer closer to Maryville but I think I could make a Knoxville meet or two. Let me kno...Feel free to ask any questions. Pics of the car will be up soon.

Hi folks! I'm here in Nashville and while I don't have an E30, I did pick up an E21 a few months ago. Hope to meet some of you.

Also, looking for a complete M20B25 with G260 for a winter swap!

Chattanooga here. I just moved to the area in June from El Paso, TX.

I built this monstrosity when I was out there:

I picked up a clean IS shell and a wrecked E36, so right now I'm building myself a new daily:

I have my own shop here in Chattanooga. I specialize in welding/fabrication, but I can do mechanics work and performance upgrades if anyone in the area needs some help too. I'm also getting ready to delve into doing production parts for E30's and E36's, so us East Coasters will have somewhere local to buy bigger parts like bolt-in roll bars, strut/shock braces, tubular control arms, and fiberglass parts like hoods, trunk lids, fenders, and roof skins.

Great to meet all of you.

Cool, good to know. Im in chatty too so I may need your help some day! What brings you here from TX?

On a side note, I had registered here a while back maybe a year ago or so, but then suddenly I couldn't log in and I couldn't get the password reset to work so I just created a new handle. So here I am again.

It's good to see some more E30 people coming out of the woodwork in Chattanooga. Feel free to come by the shop to check things out sometime.

Also, Tennessee folk, just to put this out there but I just ordered a copy of Adrenalin from Germany and will be doing a nice meet/BBQ/screening at the shop sometime in the coming months.

I'm there. You put me and etherD in a room together and we can't contain ourselves. We feed of of each other's redneck motoring skills. That man supercharged an e30 with a cat bowl. (I'm not kidding)
