    Registering/Title my car in GA?

Guys Im looking for some clarification on officially brining the E30 down to GA. Now its got a valid title from Kansas as an 85 325e and the g/f and I have found conflicting info on what I need to do.

One says I dont need an inspection and the other does. One makes it seem like I dont need emissions but do need road safety.

The emissions might be easier because, even though Im catless, I have a newer motor that should be more efficient than the original. Its the safety that worries me since most of the stuff on the car like lights and such arent DOT being european parts. The car IS safe, obviously, just not official.

So Im trying to figure out the easiest way to do this, without having to get the inspections would be best because then I wouldnt have to deal with it, just go in and register.
    Im now E30less.

No worries. 25 years old and back are emissions exempt. There is no such thing as a safety inspection in GA. Go to DMV with title, get new stuff.

Oh, also from a certain age vehicle and older you are not required to get a title to register it (saves 25 bucks or so ) BUT IF YOU CHOOSE THIS you can never title the vehicle in GA again. It will always be a "bill of sale" car . Ask me how i know. I just bought an 85 vehicle from alabama 6 months ago so im pretty fresh on the laws.

Thanks, knowing I dont need an inspection should make it easier to get it registered by the end of the month.

You must have proof iof insurance too you just need title and proof of insurance get ready to pay a "valorum" tax on all your cars lol if your titleing them all here (think thats how its spelled) goes by the book value on your cars but its a yearly thing! and gay!
